A Castle Leslie Wedding from Photography by Brideen

When Joanne married Eoin in December they chose renowned Castle Leslie for their reception, which should immediately alert you to the wonderful wedding it was. Joanne embraced the festive season with a black and red colour scheme and a church aisle lit with lanterns and the venue's character with her timeless style. The red and black was beautiful in contrast to Joanne's perfect David Fielden tea-length gown with full tulle skirt. Thankfully this utterly charming day was captured by the lovely Brideen.

From the bride: Overall we wanted our day to be a memorable gathering for us and for all our friends and family and so we wanted to keep the day relaxed, simple and intimate. We also wanted a venue that had character and charm.  The venue was so beautiful and atmospheric that it didn’t need anything added to it. Good food, good wine and good company in beautiful surroundings was what the day was about.

A special part of the day for me was the morning of the wedding at home with my family and closest friends getting ready for the day ahead. Our favorite part of the day as a couple was the drinks reception. It was just a lovely relaxing time to spend with family and friends.
